Service Pledge

We respond to all orders within 24 hours ( working days) and will ship promptly.
All our items are guaranteed as described.
We always ship within 3 working days after the payment is received.

Return Policy and Shipping

  1. If you are not pleased with your purchase, simply contact us by email within three days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price, less a restocking fee as stated.

  2. We will acknowledge your return request within three days.

  3. The item must be returned through the original carrier, in the original packaging, insured (if available) for its purchased price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you.

    The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance, unless agreed otherwise between the buyer and us.

  4. After we verified that the returned item is as originally sent, we will issue a full refund within three days

  5. We always ship our paintings free of charge worldwide, or the buyer pays actual shipping charges, if this is mentioned in the listing. The buyer never pays for handling or insurance charges.  
  6. We do not sell on a trial basis unless specified during the transaction. If an item is returned, the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs both ways and a 15% re-stocking fee will occur. We feel that all or pictures and descriptions are accurate, so if you have any questions about an item, email us before purchasing. All the paintings must be returned in the original packing. Refunding the purchase price will be only done after the item is returned, and if we are satisfied that it is in the same condition as when it left our gallery. The only exception for a full refund with shipping costs and no restocking fee is if our description was not accurate, and we reach an agreement that the fault was ours.

Extra Info and Layaway Plan

We do not charge any sale taxes. As a US-buyer, you do not have to pay any custom charges on antique artwork.
We will provide all needed documents for the customs, the buyer does not have to worry about this.
We ship ” to your door”, with USPS or DHL, with internet tracking and fully insured.

If required by the buyer: the “layaway plan”.
Layaway is accepted on all items.
General guidelines on layaways:
up to 600 US$: 1/3 downpayment (within 5 days of “sale”), 1/3 payment within 30 days.
1/3 payment within 60 days of “sale”.

For items 600US$ and up: 20% payment with “sale” ( within 5 days of “sale”), this secures the sale.

Payment monthly with equal payments determined by customer and us.

* Failure to meet terms and conditions of agreement will result in default of layaway.

Credit will be issued to purchaser for use in future purchase but no cash refund will be given. A 5 day grace period is allowed but if there is a problem that arises with a payment please contact us for assistance. ( Or even more than 5 days, please contact us if necessary)

Our paintings are always shipped with the highest care possible, in professional shipment boxes for paintings, very well protected. If there is a problem with shipping damage, we will look into this and solve it with a partial money payback to the buyer, regarding the damage to the painting. ( our shipments are fully insured)
Though, one exception: with antique “gesso” frames, there is always a ( slight) possibility of gesso loss or light frame damage during shipment, due to temperature differences and vibrations during shipment. If the box is not damaged, these problems cannot resolve in any money payback to the buyer.
